Deputy Managing Director, Philanthropy

Danielle is deputy managing director of philanthropic advising at Climate Lead. In this role, she collaborates with colleagues to design and implement methods to enable efficient operations and to better support philanthropists as they accelerate their engagement in climate strategies and solutions for impact.

Prior to Climate Lead, Danielle was a senior member of the global fundraising team at Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) for nearly 10 years. She partnered with philanthropists based in California and across Asia to launch and sustain new ideas to help address the most pressing environmental challenges of our time. She previously lived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she worked at a public policy think tank.

Danielle holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan, as well as a certificate in sustainable business strategy from the Harvard Business School. Currently based in Santa Monica with her husband and young children, Danielle is excited to join Climate Lead at a pivotal moment and is committed to ensuring a healthier and brighter future for generations to come.
