Senior Analyst, Prospect Development
Bob Calhoun is development analyst for the Climate Leadership Initiative (CLI), helping expand the global community of donors and NGOs working for a sustainable future. His work also helps the CLI team present a tailored experience that connects donors with their interests and passions.
Bob joins CLI after a substantial career at UC Berkeley where he helped support the fundraising efforts of several of the leading public university’s most prestigious initiatives and colleges, including the Innovative Genomics Institute, the Berkeley Brain Initiative, School of Public Health, and the Biological Sciences and Math and Physical Sciences divisions of the College of Letters and Science. Early on at Berkeley, Bob developed new methods of discovering potential donors from the entertainment, technology, art, fashion and investment banking industries in support of the university’s new Campaign Regions team led by CLI President Jennifer Kitt. His efforts and teamwork have been recognized by his colleagues in University Relations and Alumni Development with its Spot and Achievement awards.
Bob began his career in prospect development research at the American Cancer Society. He is a local bestselling author and he graduated cum laude with a BA in broadcasting and electronic communication arts from San Francisco State University.
