
Ashleigh Barber Tevelin is director of operations at the Climate Leadership Initiative (CLI), where she works closely with the vice president and chief operating officer to design and manage processes that enable CLI to run effectively and address the day-to-day needs of our team. Her career has been focused on helping ambitious organizations achieve big things by building environments where teams can thrive.
Prior to joining CLI, Ashleigh served as senior operations manager for states and regions at Energy Foundation (EF), where she helped design and grow the infrastructure for a 22-state climate advocacy program. Before joining EF, Ashleigh served as regional operations director for Barack Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign and as national operations director for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. In between those efforts, Ashleigh worked for Share Our Strength, fighting to alleviate childhood hunger in the United States as part of the No Kid Hungry campaign.
Originally from Kentucky, Ashleigh graduated from the University of Notre Dame with BA in English and international peace studies. As the mother of a young son, she is driven to do everything she can to make the future healthier and brighter for children everywhere.
