Whitney Kollar

Whitney is a senior philanthropy advisor at Climate Lead, where she partners with donors to navigate the complexities of climate action. She provides the strategic frameworks and specialized resources necessary for philanthropists to maximize their impact, whether they are entering the field for the first time or scaling existing portfolios. Whitney has worked with both individual philanthropists and foundations to tackle the world’s most pressing environmental challenges for more than 18 years.

Prior to joining Climate Lead, she spent 14 years at Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) building and mobilizing donor communities to fund EDF’s priorities. Her background as a lobbyist and campaign strategist in state and federal races provides her with a unique lens on the policy levers and political dynamics essential for driving systemic change.
