Shannen is communications coordinator at Climate Lead, where she supports content and events strategy as well as the everyday operations of the communications team. Prior to joining Climate Lead, Shannen supported marketing strategy at El Centro Chicano y Latino, creating engaging experiences for visitors and staff, and managing digital communications. She comes from an arts and non-profit background, having previously worked in Digital Collections for the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum and as a digital researcher for the U.S. Latinx Art Forum, an advocacy organization for Latinx art and art history.
