Priya Ratneshwar

Priya Ratneshwar is associate director of content strategy at Climate Lead, where she partners with her colleagues to develop and execute strategic communications that inspire passion and activate philanthropic support for climate solutions.
Before joining Climate Lead, Priya was senior development writer at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she developed a comprehensive portfolio of content to drive investment in pediatric research and clinical innovation. Previously, she served in a variety of roles in higher education advancement communications, including editorial director at Drexel University and director of alumni communications at Bryn Mawr College. Priya’s experience spans the full donor lifecycle—from fostering institutional confidence and issue engagement for broad audiences to soliciting and stewarding individual high-net-worth philanthropic leaders.
Priya earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Mount Holyoke College and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her husband and young daughter. Born in India, Priya witnessed firsthand the acute impact of climate change. She is motivated by her little one at home and loved ones across the globe to tell compelling stories that help create a more equitable and sustainable future for all.
