Kathy Lam
Project Manager, Philanthropy
Kathy supports Climate Lead’s advisory services, helping guide philanthropists to give to high-impact climate solutions. She has spent her career supporting the flow of resources to address some of our most pressing challenges, including housing, criminal justice reform, food access, and a climate-safe future.
Prior to joining Climate Lead, Kathy was a manager at Nonprofit Finance Fund, a consultancy and lender to mission-driven organizations. In that role, she partnered with nonprofit organizations and philanthropy across a range of issue areas to equip nonprofit leaders with the capital and financial management capability to run resilient organizations.
Kathy holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies and a master’s degree in international affairs from the University of California, San Diego. Now based in New York City, she is an avid cook and floral designer, finding daily reminders of the natural systems we are working to safeguard.
