
Jennifer Marlow is chief communications officer at the Climate Leadership Initiative (CLI), where she manages CLI’s brand, communications and events strategies, and content curation. As a member of the leadership team, she is focused on building a committed community of philanthropists funding solutions that leap frog us forward. She partners with CLI’s president and staff to demystify climate change and create clear and compelling materials and experiences designed for donors every step of the way.
Jennifer brings nearly 20 years of experience in nonprofit and government communications and marketing. Most recently, she led strategic communications for The Nature Conservancy (TNC), where she specialized in campaigns and policy communications on issues such as wildfire, renewable energy, biodiversity and ocean health. She designed programs to engage more donors in conservation and had the opportunity to work on international projects in the Pacific Islands.
Jennifer earned her BS in history and political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is the mother of two elementary-age children and feels personally compelled to do better for the next generation. Jennifer is excited to use her skills and creativity to inspire philanthropists to tackle the climate challenge and build a healthy and sustainable world for all.
