David Ohana

Director, Event Curation, Communications

David is the director of event curation at Climate Lead, where he builds strategic events and experiences for philanthropists that inspire curiosity, connection, and action on climate. As a curator, coalition-builder, storyteller, and strategy consultant, David has spent his career helping mission-driven organizations grow their communities and scale their impact. Over the past fifteen years, he has advised journalism ventures on event strategy and community engagement, researched the climate communications landscape for philanthropists, and created hundreds of events for The New Yorker, WIRED, and Teen Vogue, featuring influential figures in politics, tech, climate, and culture. Prior to joining Climate Lead, David worked with The OnBeing Project, Riffle Ventures, Antkind, and The Glen Nelson Center at APMG, and served as Director of Programming for The New Yorker Live. Some of his past events include The New Yorker Festival, The New Yorker TechFest, WIRED25, and the Teen Vogue Summit.
