Project Manager, Philanthropy
Christina James is a project manager for the philanthropy team. In her role, she supports CLI’s donor engagement strategies to equip philanthropists to take bold action on climate.
Christina previously served as program manager for the Blue Sky Funders Forum, a network of foundations and grantmaking organizations that support environmental literacy and connections to nature. At Blue Sky, Christina worked to expand the network’s programming; curated resources to showcase innovation and impact in the environmental education field; and played a key role in the development and launch of Rethink Outside, a campaign that elevates the role of the outdoors in building healthy, equitable communities.
Christina holds a BA in History and a BS in Society and Environment from the University of California, Berkeley. She values stewardship and service and worked with the National Park Service through the Student Conservation Association after completing her undergraduate degree. She is committed to working towards a just and sustainable future for people and the planet.
