Seyni Nafo
Seyni Nafo is the coordinator of the African Adaptation Initiative, spokesperson for the African Group of Negotiators, and board member of the Green Climate Fund He served as the presidential envoy for climate change for the Republic of Mali, and in 2020, was invited by UN Secretary-General Guterres to join the High-Level Advisory Group on Climate Action. In 2017, he spearheaded the Africa Renewable Energy Initiative and led its secretariat, which was hosted at the African Development Bank. Seyni chairs HYDROMA Inc., a global pioneer and leader in the discovery and development of natural (geologic) hydrogen. Over the course of his career, he has made significant contributions to Africa, and the developing world, in the fields of climate change, renewable energy and sustainable development.
