Assaad Razzouk

Assaad is the co-founder and currently the Chief Executive Officer at Gurīn Energy, a Singapore-based renewable energy developer focused on the development, ownership and operation of solar, wind and storage assets across Asia. Assad has over 30 years of business experience, with 15 of those years in leadership roles in renewables and climate mitigation in Asia.

He is a trustee of ClientEarth and an Advisory Board member of Eco-Business. He currently sits as a Board member of EB Impact, a non-profit organisation focused on delivering training and programmes to Asia Pacific’s underserved communities to generate positive sustainable development. He is also a member of the International Council of the National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

Assaad graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University. He holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Honoris Causa in Climate Change, Sustainable Development and International Cooperation from Teri University in India.
