Marcelo Palmieri

Marcelo is people specialist at Climate Lead, where he supports the creation and management of processes that enable Climate Lead to run effectively and address the day-to-day needs of the team.

Prior to joining Climate Lead, Marcelo served in a dual role as an administrative assistant and research coordinator for the WISDOM Study, an innovative breast cancer screening research trial being conducted by the University of California, San Francisco. During his time there, Marcelo had the privilege of assisting in improving administrative processes as well as working on recruiting and overseeing participants’ journeys throughout the study. He is proud of his contributions towards increasing the population diversity of the study by being on the forefront of creating a community leadership advisory board and new workflows, including a new passive method of recruitment with Veterans Affairs.

Marcelo received a bachelor’s of science degree in public health education from San Francisco State University and hopes to continue to utilize his knowledge and perspective to build toward a more sustainable and equitable future.
