Ulla Erhardt

Ulla leverages her global expertise and extensive experience across both the non-profit and private sectors to advance impactful solutions and build partnerships with leading donors and foundations. She provides resources and guidance for prominent families and individuals who are not yet giving to climate-related efforts, but are interested in learning more.

For more than 18 years, Ulla has worked with top global philanthropists, ultra-high-net-worth families, and foundations in both the private and philanthropic sectors. Prior to joining Climate Lead, Ulla served in a leadership role at World Wildlife Fund International, most recently as the head of philanthropy. She focused on building a community of support to fund the organization’s global priorities, helping philanthropists understand the urgency of environmental action and the life-protecting impact that their gifts can create. Before joining the philanthropic community, Ulla spent a decade in the private sector working for Butterfield and Robinson, a global luxury travel company based in Canada. She created custom trips for travelers from different cultural backgrounds and built a sense of community for each trip. 

German by birth, Ulla grew up in France and now lives in Switzerland. Trilingual in French, German, and English and fluent in Italian and Spanish, she holds a bachelor’s from ESB Business School and a master’s in international relations and economics from the John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
