Georgina Brown

Project Manager, Philanthropy

Georgina Brown is a project manager at Climate Lead, where she supports a senior philanthropy advisor on engaging philanthropists to fund innovative solutions to the climate crisis. Georgina brings over nine years of experience in partnership development and management between the nonprofit and private sector, and is driven by the positive societal impact diverse types of partnerships can have.

Prior to Climate Lead, Georgina held roles at organizations including Save the Children, Amref Health Africa, and Big Issue Invest. As the multi-stakeholder partnerships lead at Save the Children, Georgina was responsible for delivering on the organization’s strategic priority of bringing together different partners from across institutions, philanthropic and private sectors, in order to achieve greater impact for children, with a focus on tackling the climate crisis. As senior partnerships manager, she was responsible for the strategic direction, delivery, and securing of significant expansion of impact across a portfolio of shared-value transformational partnerships with the private sector. Georgina also contributed to their UK climate strategy development as climate partnerships co-lead, and was co-responsible for the delivery of the global movement’s COP 28 partner engagement ambitions.

Georgina is bilingual in Swedish and English. She grew up in Sweden and has lived and studied in other countries, including France and Norway. She is proud to support Climate Lead in accelerating strategic investments towards climate solutions for impact today, and in the future.
