Fiona Musana Marwa

Fiona Musana Marwa is associate director of partnerships at Climate Lead, bringing more than two decades of international nonprofit experience to the Global Climate Strategies team. She has held senior roles with diverse organizations across Africa, Asia, and Europe. This includes the German International Cooperation (GIZ), ActionAid, Greenpeace Africa, Nonviolent Peaceforce Sri Lanka, WaterAid, ALI Media/Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa Fellowship, Save the Children Southern Africa, and the Independent Evaluation Group (IEG) of the World Bank. Most recently, as senior technical advisor at Impact and Innovation Development Center (IIDC), Fiona engaged with local NGOs in Eastern Africa and with global partners. As engagement director for Greenpeace Africa, Fiona established strategic networks with NGOs and media agencies across the continent. She developed and rolled out the communications and engagement strategy for the organization.
