Elena Huisman

Elena is a manager at Climate Lead where she manages the philanthropy team operations in collaboration with the director of operations, and partners with the executive vice president to equip philanthropists to act on climate with urgency. Elena has more than ten years experience working across government, advocacy, and philanthropy, overseeing grantmaking in electricity transformation. Previously, she served as portfolio manager at the Growald Climate Fund, leading grant lifecycle management and impact evaluation for their venture philanthropy portfolio of global grantees. Elena is an alumna of the Environmental Fellows Program at Yale, in partnership with the Environmental Grantmakers Association.
