Chris Campbell

Chris is the director of finance at Climate Lead where he helps manage the financial planning, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting functions of the organization. Chris previously worked at the national literacy nonprofit Reading Partners as the director of financial planning and analysis (FPandA). Prior to that, he was the controller at PolicyLink, a national research and action institute, where he owned end-to-end accounting operations and worked on short and long-term financial models. Chris started his career at the global professional services firm Ernst and Young, and eventually transitioned to the nonprofit sector through the ProInspire fellowship program. Since completing the fellowship, Chris has continued to find ways to leverage his experience from the private sector to support social justice initiatives, which have included those centering water equity and climate resilience.
