Shirish Sinha

Shirish Sinha is the executive director of programmes at Clean Air Fund. Previously, he served as director for India, climate at Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF). Shirish has more than 20 years of experience in policy making and program implementation in the field of energy, climate change, and sustainable development policy. Prior to CIFF, Shirish worked with the Swiss Agency for Development (SDC) and Cooperation in India as deputy head of cooperation, where he led the delivery of a bilateral cooperation program on climate science and climate resilient development in the Himalayas. Before SDC, Shirish was the head of climate and energy program at the World Wide Fund for Nature – India, and also worked at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) India as the principal consultant, responsible for rural electrification and renewable energy policy and regulatory advisory. Shirish has a PhD in Public Policy (energy policy) from the University of Twente, the Netherlands and a master’s degree in rural management from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand in India.
