Seyni Nafo

Seyni Nafo is the coordinator of the African Adaptation Initiative, Spokesperson for the African Group of Negotiators and currently co-chairs the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Board. He served as the Republic of Mali Presidential Envoy for Climate Change and was invited in 2020 by UNSG Guterres to join the High-Level Advisory Group on Climate Action. In 2017, he spearheaded the Africa Renewable Energy Initiative (AREI) and headed its Secretariat hosted at African Development bank. Lastly, Amb. Nafo chairs HYDROMA Inc.; a global pioneer and leader in the discovery and development of natural (geologic) hydrogen.
