Giulia Marchiori Ceresa
Senior Philanthropy Advisor
Giulia is a senior philanthropy advisor at Climate Lead based in London, where she works closely with international donors and partners to address the climate crisis. Giulia brings together a global community of philanthropists who care about the planet and can accelerate proven and scalable solutions. With 20 years of experience in philanthropy, politics, nonprofits, and the corporate sector, Giulia understands the importance of looking at climate change as a cross-cutting issue that we must all work together to solve.
Prior to joining Climate Lead, Giulia was co-founder and principal at Paradigm, a philanthropy advisory firm with offices in London, Boston, and San Francisco. In 2016, Giulia led all engagement with Americans living overseas on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and ran its only international office in London—the first-ever international office of any U.S. presidential campaign. Giulia has also held leadership roles in international NGOs and corporate foundations, including the Clinton Global Initiative, the International Center for Transitional Justice in New York, and the Nike Foundation in London.
Giulia sits on the Global Council of Planned Parenthood and is a member of the Chatham House U.S. Foreign Policy Forum. She is also an editorial advisor to the Women’s Forum and a founding member of The Conduit. A native Italian, Giulia grew up attending French International schools in Asia and the U.S., and is fluent in English, Italian, and French. She graduated cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University, and holds a master’s degree from Boston University in international relations and international communications with a focus on social impact.
