Claire Lewis is an executive assistant to the vice president and chief operating officer of the Climate Leadership Initiative (CLI). With more than a decade of experience in philanthropy and nonprofit organizations, Claire understands the importance of bringing philanthropists together to solve some of the world’s most complex issues.
Claire previously held several positions at the Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST), including executive assistant to the president, supporting POST’s mission of preserving farmland, parkland and open spaces in the greater Bay Area. She began her career as an AmeriCorps VISTA member with the HandsOn Tech program in San Jose, California.
Claire graduated summa cum laude with an MNA from the University of San Francisco and holds a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine. Claire has always had a passion for protecting and supporting environmental initiatives and is thrilled to further CLI’s mission and mitigate climate change in a scalable and impactful way.
